About the School Readiness Roundtable: 

The School Readiness Roundtable represents a cross-sector group of early childhood partners, including First Teacher, Countdown to Kindergarten, Family Nurturing Center, Vital Village and Thrive in 5, all working together to ensure children enter school ready to learn. 

The Roundtable’s responsibilities include coordinating services to promote early childhood development to benefit area families. This includes connecting parent leaders to resources such as libraries and museums so their children can learn and thrive.
 

DSNI’s cross-sector collaboration also allows different institutions like hospitals, libraries, childcare centers, home-based providers and playgroups to talk to each other and to parents about how to best prepare children for school.
